The Edge Banding Operator Course will be GDX Academy's dedicated program for the process most likely to betray a panel factory when done poorly — and most likely to set one apart when done beautifully.

What you'll learn

From raw panel to flawless edge.

Customers don't see the core of a panel. They see the edge. They run their hand over the corner. They notice the gap, the glue line, the chipped coating — and they judge the entire product by it.

Trainees will work on live panels destined for real furniture, learning set-up, glue temperature and coverage, feed rates, trimming and scraping, corner rounding, and final inspection across both PVC and ABS tape.
